Project Objective:
To make the architectural heritage of Ukraine accessible to people with visual impairments through 3D modeling and printing.
Key stages of the project:
- Create high-precision 3D models of seven iconic architectural monuments of Lviv: the Lviv State Circus, the House of Organ and Chamber Music, the monuments to Adam Mickiewicz and Ivan Franko, the Latin Cathedral, the Church of the Ascension, and the Gunpowder Tower.
- Prepare the models for printing, taking into account the peculiarities of tactile perception.
- Print physical copies of the architectural objects.
- Organize a presentation for children and adults with visual impairments.
- Hand over the 3D models to the non-governmental organization "USI" (Ukrainian Union of People with Disabilities) for further use.
