Project Objective:

To document and preserve in digital format the evidence of Russia's war crimes against Ukraine, ensuring access for historians, archaeologists, human rights defenders, and the international community.

Key stages of the project:

  • Digitize the mass burial sites in the pine forest near Izium, where 449 bodies were discovered (mostly civilians, including children).
  • Create digital models of the police station in Izium, where Ukrainian military personnel and civilians were tortured.
  • Document the destroyed village of Kamianka using drones and photogrammetry due to the mining of the territory.
  • Process the collected data and post the results on the Sketchfab platform for open access.
  • Ensure the use of materials by war crimes researchers and the preservation of historical memory.
