The excursion, dedicated to the Via Regia cultural route, is based on tactile models of castles, tactile atlases, and a map. The project encompasses five museum institutions in the Rivne, Volyn, and Zhytomyr regions.
Project Objective:
To create an integrated, inclusive, and universal tour for people with visual impairments, as well as for visitors without visual impairments. The project aims to popularize the Via Regia cultural route, make cultural heritage accessible to everyone, and promote a better understanding of the needs of blind people.
Key stages of the project:
- Preparation for scanning works;
- Scanning objects in the Rivne, Volyn, and Zhytomyr regions;
- Creation of primary 3D models of the objects;
- Preparation of 3D models for printing;
- 3D printing of the models.
