PocketCityAR: Chortkiv
A project for the 3D digitization of eight architectural heritage monuments in the city of Chortkiv. Its goal is to preserve cultural heritage and demonstrate the capabilities of modern technologies.
Project Objective:
The goal of the project is to preserve the architectural heritage of the city of Chortkiv in a modern way. The project also aims to visually demonstrate the possibilities that the digitization of monuments offers today and to highlight the multiculturalism of the city through the selected objects.
Tasks completed by the team:
- Selection of monuments. Eight monuments representing the multiculturalism of Chortkiv were selected.
- 3D digitization. The Skeiron team conducted 3D digitization of the selected architectural objects.
Key stages of the project:
Together with the NGO "Centr Initiative", the Skeiron team digitized eight objects. The list of digitized monuments includes:
- Clock Tower and Trade Rows
- Chortkiv Fortress
- Church of the Ascension of the Lord
- Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary
- Church of St. Stanislaus
- New Synagogue of Chortkiv
- Chortkiv City Hall
- Monastery of the Sisters of the Order of Mercy
