Donetsk Stele: 3D Model and 1000 AR Postcards

Project Goals

  • To preserve the Donetsk Stele in a digital format as a safeguard against potential loss or destruction.
  • To foster a culture of memory in Ukraine by documenting significant landmarks and sharing their stories.
  • To honor and support the military personnel and volunteers who assisted in the digitization of the stele.
  • To showcase the object on international platforms and in museum exhibitions, using it for publications to promote and preserve the historical heritage of the Donetsk region.

Key Project Milestones

  • Digitizing the Donetsk Stele using advanced 3D scanning and photogrammetry techniques.
  • Creating an exact 3D model of the monument, featuring the signatures of soldiers and volunteers inscribed in 2024.
  • Producing 1,000 AR postcards with an integrated 3D model of the stele.
  • Launching a fundraiser for a binocular for a soldier of the 3rd International Legion as a gesture of support for the military and volunteers involved in the project.
  • Preparing the 3D model for presentation on international platforms, in museum displays, and across global media outlets.
