Preservation of architectural heritage in wartime: the Ukrainian model
This project contributes to the preservation of Ukraine's architectural heritage through the documentation of monuments, the development of professional training, and the practical training of new conservation architects.
This project contributes to the preservation and rehabilitation of Ukraine's architectural heritage by creating documentation of architectural monuments, strengthening professional training, and providing practical training to a new generation of Ukrainian conservation architects. Over the course of two academic years, the project will implement comprehensive courses for two groups of third-year students and for two groups of teachers from architectural schools across Ukraine. The courses will cover 3D documentation, architectural documentation, heritage analysis, condition assessment of monuments, international conservation standards, and local legal regulations.
