The manor was built in the second half of the 18th century in the Gothic style. In 1796, the construction of a new house was completed. Part of the estate was reconstructed in the mid-19th century, acquiring a classical appearance. The house featured a library, a hunting weapons museum, a picture gallery, and a large ballroom. At various times, Ivan Kotliarevsky, Yevhen Hrebinka, Oleksandr Afanasiev-Chuzhbynsky, and Lev Zhemchuzhnykov stayed as guests at the de Balmen manor. The Soviet authorities destroyed the manor. A wing built at the end of the 19th century with incredible brick lacework has been preserved, along with the stable building, a part of the park, and the entrance gate.
