The manor belonged to the Tarnovsky family until the early 20th century. After 1916, the building passed from one owner to another, and in the 1920s it was, so to speak, nationalized, after which it housed the Pryluky branch of the GPU with torture chambers in the basement, and during the Second World War — the Gestapo.
